Ipe Hardwood Decking

Ipe originates from Central and South America and has natural properties that make it one of the toughest and longest-lasting materials available. Its strong qualities come from the natural oils in the grain of the wood and its highly concentrated density levels.

Ipe wood is a fantastic product for a wooden deck that will last decades, sometimes up to 100 years. As a result, ipe is a very modest investment when considering the lifetime of the product.

You can find ipe wood on high traffic walking paths at Disney World and the Atlantic City Boardwalk.

Benefits:

  • Color tends to be a rich brown with amber and red hues.

  • Has the same fire rating as concrete or steel. Unlikely to be burnt.
  • Unlikely to warp or crack.
  • Adds elegance to any outdoor space.
  • Environment-friendly
  • Surface slivers are rare and quite difficult to inflict because of its scratch-resistant qualities.
  • Extremely resistant to mold, fungus, wood rot and decay.
  • Holds up to heavy usage.
  • Can outlast composite materials.
