MANGARIS™ RED, commonly called Red Mangaris, is produced from a genuine Red Balau species in Indonesia. It is an extremely hard, clear grade, tight and interlocked grain wood with an extremely consistent color. It is a deep red with a minor amount of fine brown ribbon stripes. It has the richness of Mahogany and is often compared to Teak but comes at a more attractive price.
Benefits:
Professional builders will often use a saw blades with carbide tips to get a slightly coarse result. This produces an artistic, rough cut finish fitting for those that demand an elegant presentation.
